DESCRIPTION
A wonderful pair of “big-eye” Russian Border Guard binoculars on a wooden telescopic stand, circa 1950. These binoculars were designed for surveillance, artillery fire correction and reconnaissance. With a large wide lens and magnification, 15 x 110, this is an incredibly decorative piece of interiors design, professionally polished and mounted on a stunning telescopic tripod stand.
